HI, I'M NATALIA
Architect.
I am passionate about exploring the connections between architecture and other disciplines — nature, fashion, technology — because I believe the best spaces are born from unexpected encounters.
I work through collaboration, experimentation, and continuous learning. I am especially drawn to social and historical approaches, and to projects where architecture generates a REAL impact: social, environmental, or cultural.
For me, good architecture is not just about space — it is also about contributing and leaving a positive mark on the world, from a human and grounded perspective.

ABOUT ME

I am a creative, innovative, and open-minded person. A restless traveller, I am driven by curiosity for cultures and the arts.
During my training as an architect, I became especially interested in restoration, architectural theory and history, but also in how architecture relates to other fields such as technology, fashion, and biology — always from a social perspective.
My thesis, 'Transformable Housing for Young People in Mexico City - 21st Century', was conceived as a project to be experienced in virtual reality: a way of combining my interest in technology with my concern for today's social challenges.
Drawn to gender equality issues and with a passion for research and writing, I collaborated with the editorial teams of Rebel Architette (IT) and the magazine of the Asociación Mexicana de Arquitectas y Urbanistas (AMAU).
Fashion has always been, for me, another language of space and identity. Like architecture, it is a home for the body: it speaks of form, functionality, materials, and beauty — just at a different scale. That is why I co-founded ESPACIO Ácrona, a studio at the intersection of spaces, objects, and fashion, with the desire to translate that relationship into timeless projects.
I am currently continuing to learn and experiment. My latest steps have taken me into biomaterials and bioplastics: I experimented creating jewellery pieces, exploring how sustainability and innovation can be translated into objects with aesthetic value and meaning.
